Financial Assistance is federal student aid for students enrolled in eligible programs at
participating schools. The federal aid is for career and English language students and covers school expenses (tuition and fees), room and board, books and supplies, and
transportation. Most federal aid is need based.
To apply for financial assistance, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
The FAFSA online can be found at

You may apply for financial aid even if you have not yet been admitted to BIR.

Who Receives Federal Student Aid?
Eligibility is determined by the Department of Education based on the information you
provide on your FAFSA.
- Be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen
- Work towards a certificate program
- Have a HS diploma, or GED, or qualify under Ability to Benefit provision
