BIR Training Center Homestay Program provided by our partner organization, OvECS, is a great way
to learn English and American culture outside of the classroom. It is an opportunity to live in a
friendly home with an American family located near your school. The Homestay Program matches students
with a family in Chicago and the family provides the student with two meals per day and a warm,
comfortable place to stay. But the experience goes far beyond that. Living with an American family
offers the student opportunities to explore Chicago, learn aspects of American life and build
friendships that last a lifetime. Homestays can be one of the best housing options for international

Student Hostel
Through a joint program between BIR Training Center and Chicago Getaway Hostel, you are welcome to
experience the friendly atmosphere of a hostel with the style, comfort and service of a boutique hotel.
Enjoy free WiFi, computers, netbooks and free printing while you study! The hostel is located in a
