The 2012-2013 FAFSA

Dear Students,

Monday, May 14th and Thursday, May, 17th between hours 2 and 4 p.m. there will be computer labs available for students & prospects who want to file FAFSA or Renewal FAFSA electronically.

Monday, May 14th Loop Campus’ Lab 7 and Thursday, May 17th Loop Campus’ Lab 3 will be available for all who need to file FAFSA and Renewal FAFSA.

Financial Aid Staff will be on hand to answer your questions and assist you.

General FAFSA or Renewal FAFSA Tips:

• Locate your federal PIN for Student and/or Parent/Guardian or
• Request a Duplicate’ at pin.ed.gov.
  If you do not receive your 2012-2013 PIN email, you can visit the
  FAFSA Filing Options Website that gives you your filing options.
• Gather your family’s Federal 2011 tax return(s) and W-2s.
  If your family is required to file taxes but has not yet filed taxes,
  please file ASAP to use up-to-date information.
  If your family is not required to file, use estimated figures
  and fill Estimated Resource Sheet provided by BIR.
• Temporarily disable pop-up blockers on your Internet browser and computer, if enabled.
• List BIR’s six-digit code (034483) in the school section of the form.
• Once you file, follow up on your FAFSA at fafsa.ed.gov
  and review your Student Aid Report (SAR) for any corrections or further action needed.
